GLP-1 Sema is a long-acting synthetic GLP-1 receptor agonist, a 31-amino-acid analog of native glucagon-like peptide-1 with fatty-acid conjugation that enables albumin binding and significantly extends plasma half-life compared to native GLP-1 (7-36 amide). It acts as a potent, selective GLP-1 receptor (GLP-1R) full agonist.
